Intro
In this guide you may find all the steps required to create a Cookie Consent page for your domain, the one from InMobi. InMobi has been tested and it is compatible with OCM's tools, it complies with the latest Google's policies and it is very easy to implement.
Steps to setup InMobi
1. Login or create an InMobi account for free at https://choice.inmobi.com/login
2. Go to Properties --> Choice
3. To create a Theme you click -> Theme -> and on the top right click "CREATE A THEME"
Add a name to the theme that is relevant to your domain. If you have more that one domain, you must create a different theme per domain.
In the above image, the European regulation (GDPR) and the US regulation options should be checked.
4. In the Customize UI screen, select the preferred language under CMP UI LANGUAGE, select the look you prefer under the INITIAL SCREEN, select the look you prefer for the SUMMARY VIEW DISPLAY OPTIONS and the text for each button. If English is the selected language, the PRIMARY BUTTON TEXT is usually "I ACCEPT", and for the SECONDARY BUTTON TEXT is "SAVE AND EXIT".
For the check-box below, the official instruction is to have it checked, but you it's up to you to decide. If the official language is English, the DISAGREE BUTTON TEXT is usually "DISAGREE".
5. If you want to add any specific links for Privacy & Policy, etc. you can do it under the Custom Footer Links
6. Click the + icon to open the Advanced CSS Overrides field. Here you can add some custom CSS code which will override the above values. CCS overrides can also be added in the domain's source code if that is more convenient.
7. You need to click on the TCF 2.2 and the Use Stacks, as below:
8. The Customize Persistent Consent Link section, is regarding the PERSISTENT CONSENT LINK LABEL, which if activated, it will show as the example below the "Privacy" button at the bottom right of the screen. The official instructions demand that this button is visible and in a position without any ad to avoid false clicks. The code for appearing as a custom pop-up is: __tcfapi('displayConsentUi',2, function() {});
9. The last step for creating the theme is to click SAVE THEME at the top right of the page, as shown below
